Where Does the money go
School Uniforms
Along with education, IREF also provides its students with clothing. Although a school uniform is designated to the classroom; it provides them with another set of clothing. Many children come to IREF without proper clothing or the means to purchase clothes or shoes. But in a place where education is of high value, these uniforms represent more than another set of clothes; they represent hope and a future that many children in rural South India simply do not have. A gift of $15 provides one student with a school uniform. This year, our need is to provide 2,000 school uniforms.
Food Relief Package & Construction Projects
For less than a tank of gas, you can provide two weeks of food to a family in need! Each week, IREF provides nearly 40 care packages to families in need. The local State Representative said it best, “IREF is the first non-government representative to come see these families; not just see, but to provide for them outside of pre-designated government aid.” Please consider donating a few dollars to help a family in need.
Education
Education can be the essential opportunity that helps a child, and their family, to break out of the cycle of poverty. Your support allows IREF to provide the rigorous academic and spiritual instruction that is necessary to empower students to succeed financially and to live with eternal hope. We operate schools from the primary to the college level including post-graduate courses. All classes begin with prayer and as students grow in their understanding of God’s love, they become invaluable members of our growing churches. Your partnership enables students to flourish in viable careers and become pillars in Indian society - not because of their caste - but because of their capabilities and the content of their character.
